Laura Coker, a shareholder at Stone Crosby and Daphne resident, was recently selected as the newest board member of the Daphne Industrial Development Board. The Daphne Industrial Development Board is a committee of the City of Daphne that utilizes a portion of the City’s lodging tax for projects focused on the advancement and economic development of the area. The Daphne Industrial Development Board has been a leading proponent for projects, such as the currently-under development Daphne Innovation + Science Complex (DISC) which is a 75 acre master-planned campus for Class A office and research space in Daphne focused toward the recruitment of technology, professional services, and corporate office opportunities.
